Sumbrungu Ladies team manager edge his players to score more goals.

The team manager of Sumbrungu Ladies FC, Naba Paul Asaana Agoo popularly known as “Chief BONBIGA” express dissatisfaction of his team goal scoring chances. The football loving chief who played football during his tender age in school and was part of management member of one time vibrate team in the Upper East Region, Catholic Stars charge his team to score more goals to brighten thier chances of qualifying to the premier of Ghana women football.

“You people are making me sick with the chances you are waisting. Do your best to score more goals and we will also do your best” he said.

He said this after his team to Chiana to beat Save the Frogs Ladies 2-0 in the on-going Upper East Regional Women’s Division One League. Their next match will be against Achula Princess at home.

Asante Kotoko defeat Inter Allies 3-2

Asante Kotoko on Monday afternoon posted an important 3-2 win over Inter Allies FC to ensure they stay in the race for this season’s Ghana Premier League title.

The Porcupine Warriors today locked horns with the Capelli Boys at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu to fight for three points on matchday 29 of the ongoing league season.

In a game where both teams excelled, Asante Kotoko went into the break with a deserved 2-1 lead. Goals from Emmanuel Gyamfi and Evans Adomako gave the reds the advantage while Alex Aso’s strike kept the home team in the game.

With Andrews Apau scoring in the 71st minute, Asante Kotoko managed to hold on to ensure they win 3-2 at the end of the 90 minutes.

The win means Asante Kotoko stays in second on the Ghana Premier League table with 53 points, the same as the team in first, Hearts of Oak.

Sumbrungu Ladies FC beats Save the Frogs Ladies to Record their third win.

Sumbrungu Ladies FC recorded thier third win in week three of the on-going Upper East Regional Women’s Division One League against Save the Frogs Ladies in Chiana.

The visitors had many chances in the first half including a penalty which they blew away. The Queens of Sumbrungu came back stronger and took the lead in the 75th minute through the captain, Nzona Macrinnah before thier lead striker, Ayantoya Zippora added the second goal on the 88th minute.

The queens now have accumulation of goals to be 39 after their first match ended 6 goals to zero against Bulisa Ladies at home in week one and week two match ended 31 goals to zero against Black Arrows ladies. Their next match will be against Achula Princess at home ( Kunkua JHS Park in Sumbrungu.
